-4 and Holding

Former MFA student Bart Cameron and his band The Foghorns visited Mankato. The Foghorns include Bart and Icelandic friends Kopur on drums and Boddi on bass, not to mention Aussie friend Marisa on violin. No one asked anyone if they knew Bjork. The Foghorns were preceded by Dylan Schultz and Kitcar. Dave Clisbee held up his bohemian end of things by reading three poems in between the two acts. To add to the color of the evening, there was a dog roaming the bar begging for sips of beer. It declared itself a nihilist. It recited Baudelaire. It swore at a cruel moon.

At the end of the night, the creative writing director announced his retirement from tour promotion.
